Terms and conditions

Jeshua AS offers guided sightseeing tours and Arctic experiences in Northern Norway, including transportation, outdoor activities, Arctic Floating, and sauna experiences, depending on the selected tour. By completing a booking and/or making a payment, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, together with the specific requirements applicable to their selected activity. All services included in each reservation are described in the corresponding tour information. These Terms & Conditions constitute part of the booking agreement between the customer and Jeshua AS, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights under Norwegian law.

  • All bookings must be made through our official website or an authorized booking partner. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices displayed on our website are expressed in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include applicable taxes. Authorized booking partners may display prices in other currencies. Reservations are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a booking confirmation has been issued.

    Customers must provide accurate contact information, including a valid email address and telephone number, and ensure that all participants meet the requirements of their selected activity. Optional extras, including thermal clothing rental, sauna experiences, personalized certificates, and celebration packages, are subject to availability and advance confirmation.

  • Northern Lights, Fjords and Sommarøy Islands & Sommarøy Arctic Sauna: Bus transportation is included from our regular meeting point at Fredrik Langes gate 4, outside the main entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel Tromsø. The hotel is not affiliated with Jeshua Tours. General hotel pick-up and drop-off services are not included, although alternative arrangements, including cruise terminal pick-ups, may be available when expressly confirmed by Jeshua AS.

    Arctic Floating, Arctic Sauna & Arctic Floating and Sauna: These activities take place in Kaldfjord, Tromsø, and do not include transportation. Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own transportation to and from the activity location. The exact meeting point and arrival instructions will be provided in the booking confirmation.

    Jeshua AS is not responsible for missed activities caused by customers' independent transportation arrangements, except where liability arises under applicable law. Departure or starting times may be adjusted for operational or safety reasons, with customers notified of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.

    Toilet facilities may be available onboard the bus or at selected stops, depending on the vehicle and itinerary. Some remote outdoor locations may not have restroom facilities.

  • Customers should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure or activity starting time. Tours and activities operate according to their scheduled times, and late arrivals or failure to attend without prior cancellation will be considered no-shows, with no refund under the standard cancellation policy. Jeshua AS may adjust departure times when necessary due to weather, safety, or operational circumstances. Customers will be notified of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Northern Lights, Fjords and Sommarøy Islands & Sommarøy Arctic Sauna: There is no general minimum age, provided that suitable safety and transportation arrangements can be made. Customers travelling with children must inform Jeshua AS in advance of each child's age and height to arrange appropriate child restraints in accordance with Norwegian regulations and company safety procedures. Every child occupying a seat must have a valid tour ticket, and children requiring a child seat must purchase a full-price ticket unless otherwise specified.

    Arctic Floating & Arctic Floating and Sauna: Minimum age is 10 years, and minimum height is 130 cm. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All participants must be able to safely wear the provided thermal floating suit, subject to suitable equipment availability.

    Arctic Sauna Only: There is no general minimum age, but children must remain under the direct supervision of a parent or responsible adult. Access to the Arctic waters is subject to staff instructions and appropriate safety conditions.

    Jeshua AS may restrict participation when applicable safety requirements cannot be met.

  • Customers must bring clothing and personal items suitable for their selected activity and prevailing Arctic conditions.

    Northern Lights, Fjords and Sommarøy Islands & Sommarøy Arctic Sauna: Warm thermal layers, waterproof outerwear, appropriate winter footwear, gloves, and traction aids are strongly recommended. Thermal suits, boots, gloves, and wool hats may be available to rent during winter, subject to availability. Reflective safety vests provided during Northern Lights tours must be worn whenever participants are outside the bus.

    Arctic Floating & Arctic Floating and Sauna: Specially designed thermal floating suits are included and must be correctly fitted, secured, and worn throughout the floating activity.

    Arctic Sauna & Arctic Floating and Sauna: Customers must bring suitable swimwear and any additional personal items specified in their booking instructions.

    All equipment provided by Jeshua AS must be used correctly and returned after the activity.

  • Customer Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled activity start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity are not eligible for a refund under the standard policy. This applies to all regular Jeshua Tours experiences.

    Late Arrivals & No-Shows: Customers must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure or starting time. Late arrivals or failure to attend without prior cancellation will be considered no-shows and are not eligible for refunds under the standard policy.

    Operator Cancellations: If Jeshua AS cancels an activity due to unsafe weather, road conditions, operational problems, or other circumstances preventing its delivery, customers will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule to another available date.

    Booking Partners: Reservations made through GetYourGuide or other authorized partners may be subject to additional platform procedures. The cancellation conditions expressly confirmed at booking and any mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.

    Optional extras may have specific cancellation conditions disclosed at purchase. Otherwise, the standard cancellation policy applies.

  • All participants must follow the instructions of Jeshua AS staff and assess whether their physical condition is suitable for their selected activity. Customers must inform Jeshua AS in advance of any relevant medical condition, mobility limitation, or accessibility requirement that may affect safe participation.

    Guided Bus Tours: Participants must remain with the group during outdoor stops, avoid roads and restricted areas, and follow staff instructions at all times. For Northern Lights tours, wearing the reflective safety vest provided by Jeshua AS is mandatory whenever participants are outside the bus.

    Arctic Floating: Participants must attend the safety briefing, remain within the designated floating area, and keep their thermal floating suits correctly fastened. Swimming away from the designated area, intentionally opening or removing the suit in the water, or engaging in unsafe behavior is prohibited. Any discomfort, anxiety, breathing difficulties, or dizziness must be reported immediately.

    Arctic Sauna, Arctic Floating & Sauna, and Optional Arctic Swimming in Sommarøy: Sauna use and cold-water immersion involve exposure to extreme temperatures and may cause cold shock, breathing difficulties, hypothermia, or cardiovascular stress. Participants must avoid sudden temperature changes, cool down gradually after leaving the sauna, and enter the water slowly and progressively. Jumping or diving is prohibited. Participants must keep their heads above the surface, allow their breathing to stabilize, remain within designated areas, and avoid prolonged cold-water exposure. Entering the water alone is not permitted. Anyone experiencing dizziness, weakness, chest discomfort, breathing difficulties, or other unusual symptoms must leave the water immediately and inform staff.

    Participants with heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, circulatory disorders, respiratory conditions, or other relevant medical concerns should consult a healthcare professional before booking or participating. By completing a reservation, customers acknowledge that they have considered their own health and physical condition and understand the inherent risks of their selected activity. Participants are responsible for disclosing relevant medical conditions. Jeshua AS may refuse or discontinue participation where a significant safety concern cannot be adequately managed.

    Participants visibly impaired by alcohol or drugs may be refused participation. Alcohol and recreational drug consumption during activities is prohibited unless expressly authorized by Jeshua AS and compatible with safety requirements. Refund eligibility following refusal of participation depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

    Jeshua AS is not responsible for adverse reactions arising solely from undisclosed medical conditions that could not reasonably have been anticipated or prevented through appropriate safety measures, except where liability arises under applicable law.

  • Fjords and Sommarøy Islands with Salmon Picnic: This tour include an outdoor picnic or tasting experience featuring selected refreshments and local products. Picnics are not intended to replace a full meal. Vegetarian and gluten-free options may be available upon advance request.

    Guests with food allergies, intolerances, coeliac disease, or specific dietary requirements must review our allergen information and inform Jeshua AS of any relevant concerns before participating.

    Jeshua AS does not operate a dedicated allergen-free kitchen or preparation area and cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination. Food products may vary depending on availability, and updated allergen information will be provided when substitutions are made. Guests with severe allergies should contact us before booking to discuss whether their dietary needs can be safely accommodated.

  • Arctic weather can change rapidly and may affect routes, departure times, outdoor stops, and activity arrangements. Jeshua AS may make reasonable adjustments when necessary due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or operational circumstances. Customers will be notified of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.

    Northern Lights: The route is planned individually each night according to weather forecasts, cloud coverage, road conditions, and solar activity. The final destination may only be determined a few hours before departure, and departure times may occasionally be adjusted by approximately 30–60 minutes. The tour may travel towards or across the borders into Finland or Sweden. Customers must bring a valid passport or national identity document accepted for any international border crossing that may be required. Northern Lights tours may include an outdoor campfire, hot drinks, and refreshments when weather and safety conditions permit. Participants must exercise caution in dark or remote areas, particularly on icy, snowy, or uneven ground, and remain within the areas indicated by our staff.

    Fjords & Sommarøy Islands: This is a sightseeing tour by bus, not a boat trip. The itinerary includes scenic outdoor stops that may be modified, shortened, or omitted depending on conditions. Optional Arctic Swimming and seaside sauna experiences are subject to suitable weather, safety conditions, and advance confirmation where applicable.

    Arctic Floating, Arctic Sauna & Arctic Floating and Sauna: These activities take place in Kaldfjord and are subject to suitable weather and sea conditions. Access to the fjord for swimming is available to sauna guests when conditions permit. The sequence and duration of combined activities may be adjusted for safety or operational reasons.

    Natural phenomena, including Northern Lights visibility and sea conditions, cannot be guaranteed.

  • Unlimited Aurora Return Guarantee: Jeshua Tours offers a guarantee exclusively for the Northern Lights Tour. The experience is considered successful when our professional camera captures at least one clear photograph of the participant with recognizable Northern Lights visible in the same frame, even if the auroras are less visible to the naked eye.

    If this photograph is not successfully captured, the participant may join another available Northern Lights Tour free of charge, as many times as necessary until the required photograph is obtained, subject to availability and the duration of their stay in Tromsø. If the participant cannot return before leaving Tromsø, they are eligible for a 70% refund of the tour ticket price paid, excluding optional extras.

    Guarantee Procedure: After the tour, eligible customers will receive an email explaining their options. Customers must reply to this email to request free rebooking or, if unable to return during their stay, the 70% refund. Free rebookings must be arranged and confirmed in advance by Jeshua AS.

    Repeat Experience Discount: Customers who have successfully experienced the Northern Lights may receive a 50% discount on a subsequent Northern Lights Tour, exclusively when booking through our official website and subject to the applicable promotional conditions. This offer is separate from the Unlimited Aurora Return Guarantee.

    Professional Photography: Photography is included in the Northern Lights, Fjords & Sommarøy Islands & Sommarøy Arctic Sauna Tours. Photographs are normally delivered through a digital download link sent by email after the tour. The number of photographs per participant may vary according to weather, aurora activity, and operational conditions. Personalized certificates may be available upon request at the end of the tour.

    The Northern Lights Guarantee does not apply to Fjords & Sommarøy Islands, Arctic Floating, Arctic Sauna, or Arctic Floating & Sauna.

  • Jeshua Tours offers a multilingual live audio translation system exclusively on our Northern Lights, Fjords & Sommarøy Islands, and Sommarøy Arctic Sauna guided tours, allowing guests to follow the guide's explanations in multiple languages through their own smartphones.

    To use this service, guests must bring their own smartphone and personal headphones (wired or Bluetooth). Listening through the phone's loudspeaker is strictly prohibited to avoid disturbing other participants. Access instructions will be provided by our team the day before.

    This translation service is exclusive to tours operated directly by Jeshua Tours. Other activities booked through our collaborating agencies or external partners, including group experiences operated by third parties, do not include this service unless expressly stated otherwise.

  • Jeshua AS operates in an Arctic environment where weather, road conditions, and natural hazards may affect activities. Circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, avalanches, natural disasters, or government restrictions, may result in modifications, delays, rescheduling, or cancellations. Jeshua AS will take reasonable measures to ensure participant safety and minimize disruption.

    Jeshua AS is not responsible for independently arranged flights, accommodation, transportation, or other services not included in the booking, except where liability arises under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from negligence or failure to comply with applicable safety obligations.

    Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. We recommend avoiding unnecessary valuables, particularly during outdoor and water-based activities. Jeshua AS is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property except where legally responsible.

    We strongly recommend obtaining suitable travel and medical insurance covering accidents, medical emergencies, cancellations, travel disruptions, and outdoor or water-based activities where applicable.

  • Customers are encouraged to report any concerns as soon as possible so that Jeshua AS has an opportunity to investigate and resolve them. Complaints should preferably be submitted in writing within 14 days following the activity. This recommended period does not limit mandatory consumer rights or legal deadlines.

    These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law, and disputes will be handled through the competent Norwegian dispute resolution bodies or courts in accordance with applicable law.

    By completing a reservation, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the specific requirements applicable to their selected activity. They acknowledge the relevant safety procedures, cancellation policies, participation requirements, medical considerations, and availability of allergen information where food is included. Acceptance does not waive any mandatory rights under Norwegian law.
